At Mix ‘em Up Bartending School, we provide complete hands on training in a Nightclub / Bar setting. Our students train using Real Beer Taps, Real Soda Guns, Real Glassware, Real Bar Equipment, Real Ice Machines, Real Working Bar Sinks, Real Cash Registers, and Real Bottles with their original labels. The atmosphere we create is that of a busy night spot with Disco Lights Flashing and Music Pumping.

Mix ’em Up students do everything a real bartender does on a daily basis, from setting up and stocking their bar, to cleaning up and "breaking down" their bar. We base our training under the assumption that our students know nothing about the bartending business, taking each student right from the very beginning, slowly and patiently building their confidence each and every day. The objective of our training program is for the student to leave here, at the completion of the course, feeling confident and prepared, as if they have already bartended.

At Mix ‘em Up our name and reputation is very important to us, therefore all students are offered unlimited practice and free refresher classes at any time, ensuring the high skill level necessary to enter the bartending world. It is this commitment to quality bartenders that has bar owners / managers calling Mix ‘em Up whenever they need to fill a bartending position.

	At Mix ‘em Up, everything is real, "but the booze." We will train you using all real bar equipment and how to use the tools of the trade.
	After teaching you how to set up and stock your bar the first day, you will now do this daily, (repetition = confidence) exactly as you will once you begin your bartending career.
	At the end of your first lesson, you will be taught how to clean up and "break down" your bar, and once again do this on a daily basis, (repetition = knowledge = confidence) so you can get to the best part ....... counting tips!!
	You will learn and memorize how to properly make over 150 different cocktails, through practice, repetition, and using our unique word associations (example: a Jolly Rancher is a Pretty Awesome Candy -- P = peach schnapps, A = apple schnapps, C = cranberry juice)
	We will help you develop the skills necessary to become a quick and efficient bartender, preparing you to work at any type of establishment.
	Not only will you learn how to make your drinks taste good --- but now you will learn how to make them look good as well.
	We will teach you the art of both measured and free pouring, practicing daily to ensure accuracy.
	Throughout the course, you will learn the different categories, classifications and name brands of alcohol.
	You will learn the name brands, flavors, and proper serving techniques of these top shelf items.
	An education on the different types, their country of origin, and how they are to be served.
	How to make and pour multiple shots and how to pour draft beer. (yes, we have real working beer taps).
	We will teach you the customer service techniques necessary to get your customers to (a) stay longer (b) spend more $ and (c) come back more often, all which add up to ...... TIPS 4 U.
	We will teach you how to serve alcohol responsibly, how to recognize intoxication and how to handle it. Also,how to check ID's properly (the most important lesson to the bar owners/managers).
	We will teach you how to run tabs for your customers, accept cash/credit cards, and work a cash register.
	We carry and you will use, a full line of real glassware, so you can identify with the name, shape & style of what you will find on the job.
	Not only will we get you job leads through our job placement program, but we will teach you how to successfully interview for a bartending position.
	In this lesson we will teach you banquet and private party bartending, and even how to start your own "bartender on wheels" business.
	Not a required part of the course, but available for those that want to add flair & style to their bartending.
